(02) THE WAY

BY AIR: Pristina International Airport 'Adem Jashari' is the nearest airport, roughly an hour from Klina by car. Taxis and rental desks operate at arrivals; agree the fare before the door closes.
BY CAR: Klina sits on the Pristina to Peja road. From Pristina, follow the M-9 west, about 50 kilometres. From Peja, about 25 kilometres east. The venue is signed from the town centre in festival week.
BY BUS: Intercity buses on the Pristina · Peja line stop in Klina through the day. The last buses leave before the screenings end: plan the night around a car, a shared ride, or a bed in town.
PARKING: Festival parking stands beside the venue, marshalled, free, first come. The hundred cars inside the amphitheatre are artworks; yours sleeps outside.
WHERE TO SLEEP: Klina keeps a small ring of guesthouses; they fill first. Peja (25 km) and Pristina (50 km) carry the weight of festival nights, hotels of every size, roads home after the gala.
THE ONE PRACTICAL TRUTH: The amphitheatre is open sky. September nights in Klina turn cool after dark. Bring a layer.
